Access
The Brecks is at the heart of England’s cycling country and offers a choice of easy routes on quiet roads to the more challenging off-road forest trails. All ability cycle hire is also available in Thetford Forest click here for more information on Disabled Access
 
Cycling routes

National Cycle Network Route 13 Sustrans. Route 13 passes through The Brecks between Watton and Thetford connecting to cycle route 1.

The Brecks Cycling Discovery Route
20 mile/22 km circular route, taking in the Georgian market town of Swaffham and Oxburgh Hall (NT). There is a 10 mile/16 km shortcut. Contact: 0870 2254852.

Cycling in Thetford Forest Park.
There are three trails through from Forest Lodge Visitor Centre. The Brandon Park and Forest Lodge loops are both 6.5 miles/10.5 km long; the Black Route is 8 miles/12.9 km one way. There is free access for cyclists on land owned by the Forestry Commission. http://www.forestry.gov.uk/

Swaffham Bridle Route

Is 21 miles / 34 km long passing through rolling farmland around Swaffham The route is mainly on tracks and minor roads
