The acquisition of Chirstmas Hill Farm gave one Suffolk family the chance to combine all their interests in Nature Conservation, their love of wildlife and the countryside and, in particular, protecting Rare Breeds of British sheep and cows.
The shop sells a first-class variety of meat including their own Christmas Hill Rare Breed beef and lamb, local pork, chicken, game and much more. Some rarer types are only available at certain times - feel free to call if you wish to know when you favourite breed is available.
As well as the meat we sell a range of produce from great preserves and chutneys to some wonderful local ice-cream. Also, some exciting examples of local produce are featured. We have visited the suppliers and tasted what they have to offer (the perks of the job!) to ensure that we only stock the very best of the local area.

St. George's Ditillery is a new distillery in Norfolk, now established as the first and only registered whisky distilling company in England
Situated on the banks of the river Thet, The English Whisky Co. has been developed as a result of one man's life long interest in Whisky and also in agriculture. James Nelstrop and his son Andrew have combined their expertise in this joint adventure. They were joined in September 2006 by Master Distiller Ian Henderson to start the distilling process. The distillery will be aiming to have some exquisite single malt ready for Christmas 2009. Until then there is plenty for visitors to see with tasting experiences, guided tours, conference facilities and much more.
Tour times: Monday – Sunday hourly between 10 - 4pm
Tour cost: £4.75 per person incl. tea or coffee
